Do you want to live surrounded by Nature? Somewhere where you only hear the sounds of the birds ?

Space for your ideas
Aside from communal living, the house offers plenty of space for your own projects: in the garden, the workshop, the seminar room and the barn. We also have access to spring water and cherry on the cake, we even have a sauna to make the winter evening really cosy. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, forest bathing and relaxing outdoors.
A community project
This is a community project where connection, sustainability, and respect for oneself and for the environment are at the center.
We are looking for people who are motivated to bring this place to life and help shape it.

About the house
The house is in a beautiful location, surrounded by nature and a garden. In addition to the kitchen, living room and laundry room, we have a sauna, workshop shed, large parking and seminar room for shared use.
We are looking for flatmates starting in September 2026. Rent per room starting at 700.–, excluding utilities.
The hillside location is idyllic yet accessible:
By car, it’s around 40 minutes to Zurich and 30 minutes to Winti/Rappi.
Public transport: It’s 1.5 km down to Bauma station, about a 30-minute walk through the woods. By e-bike, it takes about 15 minutes. Then it’s about 50 minutes by bus and train to Zurich. The journey to Winti/Rappi takes about 40 minutes.

About us
We are four nature enthusiasts between the ages of 29 and 41. We bring a variety of professional expertise to the table: from community building, research at ETH Zurich, social pedagogy with parents and children, crafts, and engineering to nonviolent communication.
After two years of gathering experience in Fischenthal, building a big permaculture garden from scratch, and a long search for a place in nature where we can build a long lasting project, we finally found the place we were dreaming of and will soon call home.
We’re excited to breathe new life into this new place together with renewed energy.
